Oceanair, leading marine blind and shading experts for boats of all sizes, are pleased to announce the launch of their new retail product range for 2016/17. In addition to offering bespoke custom made blinds for boat windows, hatches, portlights and doors, the Oceanair retail range offers ready-to-go shading solutions that are easy to install and available in a wide range of standard sizes.
Showcasing 5 products, the Skyscreen Roller Surface 2, Cabinshade, SKYSOL Pleatedshade, the DAME Award Category winning SKYSOL Motion and the Portshade, the complete range is available to all yacht and motor boat owners through local chandleries and Oceanair dealers and stockists.
The range incorporates a new variety of screens and shades giving customers more variety to choose from. The SKYSCREEN Roller Surface 2 is a unique combination flyscreen and shade system suitable for all onboard hatches and windows. It requires no recess or cavity to be installed and is available in sizes to match all major hatch brands. The low profile design of the Skyscreen features a blackout shade, flyscreen and simple magnetic handle system.
The Cabinshade and the Portshade are cassette roller blinds, made from blackout fabric, housed in simple, functional extrusions for hatches or windows. Whilst both blinds work well with onboard angled surfaces with the added benefit of being suited for slightly curved headlinings, the Portshade is ultra-slim making it the perfect shading solution for even the smallest of portlights.
SKYSOL Pleatedshade is a stylish pleated fabric blind ideally suited for portlights and small windows, a simple snap system serves to secure the shade when stowed or deployed. The new range is completed by the DAME Award Category winning SKYSOL Motion. Ideal for yacht port lights and windows, this blind offers the practicality and convenience associated with traditional roller blinds, combined with the elegant look and feel of a pleated blind. SKYSOL Motion is streamline and compact in design, fitting seamlessly into any boat.
Oceanair are also implementing a new guaranteed exchange service on standard sized retail products, to support the customer in their blind selection, thus taking the worry out of measuring for new blinds.
The launch encompasses new product displays, new packaging and accompanying literature. Packaging is in new, sturdier shaped plastic boxes, with a handy viewing window, so customers can get a glimpse of our specially designed handles and hardware. Furthermore, packaging has been updated with Oceanair’s new Elegance: Engineered branding, and new retail stands have been upgraded to include an additional, angled, overhead board – demonstrating inclined application on hatches.
