Committed to developing new products to enhance safety at sea, Ocean Safety is bringing innovation to Düsseldorf.
Ocean Safety’s recently launched Ocean SOLAS Ultralite liferaft will be making its first appearance at a European consumer show. The new liferaft uses carbon composite technology to achieve a significant 23% weight saving, a vital boost in the search for speed. The Ultralite is installed on all the Volvo Ocean Race Yachts taking part in the 2017/18 race.
The very latest in the Kru range of high performance lifejackets and the newest KIM compact man overboard safety ladder, deployable from the water, will also be on the innovations list.
In the meantime, tried and tested products including the Ocean Safety Jonbouy man overboard recovery system and a range of other vital safety items will also be exhibited on the stand.
