Ocean Safety has unveiled a ground breaking new lifejacket at METS in Amsterdam. Named the Kru Elite 195, the lifejacket is pushing back the boundaries of performance and comfort by breaking away from traditional lifejacket styles, whilst featuring new and exciting colour ways.
The Kru Elite 195’s tailored shape means there’s no unfolding or arranging to do in the heat of the moment. The tailored ‘3D’ profile is formed to instantly fit, and there is a quick burst zip to make inflation extra-fast when needed.
The Elite 195 features an easy donning front zip, pocket and viewing window for the Pro Sensor firing head, sprayhood, twin harness loops for line attachment and an integral crotch strap. Only the waist belt requires adjustment for this one size fits all lifejacket, which is quick and simple with the dual adjuster waist belt.
The sprung airmesh comfort collar and foam lined base layer adds to the comfortable and minimalist experience. Yet once it is inflated the Elite turns into an exceptionally high performing lifesaver with 195N of buoyancy giving rugged support.
The Kru Elite 195 has been developed by Ocean Safety for everyone from active ocean racing to cruising sailors and it is expected to be a favourite for all seafarers that expect top performance combined with sleek design.
