MDL Marinas has added its name to the list of leading brands exhibiting at the second Poole Harbour Boat Show from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd May. The MDL team from nearby Cobb’s Quay Marina will be at the show giving visitors the opportunity to take part in an exciting RIB Ride Challenge to win prizes, as well as offer one lucky winner the chance to win a summer berth at the marina.

Back by popular demand, the show will be held at Poole Quay Boat Haven and promises to be even bigger and better than 2015. This year it will run for three days instead of two, and will feature fireworks, live music and entertainment, so an event not to be missed!

The team will also be on hand to talk to visitors about the marina’s fantastic facilities and MDL’s unique Freedom Berthing package, which gives customers complimentary access to over 100 marina destinations across the UK and Europe, as well as fuel at cost, inclusive super-fast WiFi, and discounted boatyard services.

The stand’s exciting RIB Ride Challenge will invite visitors to compete on a console-based RIB simulator to reach the top of the ‘Top Gear’ style leader board with a prize given to the best time recorded each day. Those who are the fastest around the simulator course this year will win a fantastic prize – a RIB ride in Poole Harbour for two!

Dave Wilson, Manager at MDL’s Cobb’s Quay Marina, commented: “Last year’s event was such a success and we’re delighted to be part of the show for its second year. 2015’s cleat challenge really saw some stiff competition and it was great to see so many people getting involved. We are looking forward to seeing even more competition this year with our RIB challenge, as well as awarding one lucky visitor with a free summer berth. Cobb’s Quay offers the widest range of berthing options in Poole Harbour and this event gives us a fantastic opportunity to showcase them.”
