Whitehaven Marina rips up boat lift and launch invoice

Whitehaven Marina, a 400 berth marina on the North West Coast of the UK is rewarding forward planning customers. The Marina is offering a special reward to annual customers who book during October to lift their boat before the end of January 2016.

These forward planners will be entered into a draw and at the end of January one lucky winner will have their lift and launch invoice ripped up (or reimbursed if its already paid).

Whitehaven already rewards annual berth holders with a month’s fee storage ashore. So for those thinking about coming ashore this winter anyway it would seem a smart move to book early and potentially benefit from a cost cutting of what can sometimes be a sizeable maintenance cost.

Marina Manager Simone Morgan, says “We like to encourage customers to book their lifts early. Often the weather can be bad in January and February which can hamper lifting operations and then there is a rush on the boatyard operations in March.

If customers are smart and get their major work done early it means that if the weather is good early next season they could already be afloat and able to take advantage of it, which is a feel good factor and a great way to start the season.”

Plus for those boat owners who are not already Whitehaven customers the marina are offering a special 2015 winter package of £150 per metre inclusive of VAT. This is for 6 months berthing, plus a lift, wash off, block and relaunch and 2 weeks storage ashore.

Whitehaven Boatyard is one of the most modern facilities on the North West Coast of England. With storage for boats of up to 20m LOA and a 45 tonne boat hoist.
