Lewmar is entering an exciting phase of development fuelled by product development, the creation of a new product line namely the Glass division and a worldwide recovering economy. To support this growth, Lewmar is strengthening its sales team with key appointments.

Ross Partridge has been appointed Distribution Sales Manager with responsibilities in managing and supporting the continued sales growth of Lewmar’s distribution accounts. Ross is joining Lewmar from Raymarine UK Ltd where he held the position of Retail Sales manager and for a short time worked with Raymarine Australia. After graduating from a Business degree, he worked within fleet and charter management in the UK and Greece. “In today’s highly competitive market place, we needed a skilled Sales Manager to lead the distribution business. Ross’s dynamic outlook coupled with his previous experience made him the leading candidate for the position as Lewmar continue to push forward in all areas of the marketplace.” commented Matt Johnston Sales and Marketing Director.

Adam Cockerill and Vicky Minteli join Lewmar’s OEM Sales team with primary responsibilities in looking after the large German based OEM accounts. “With a wealth of sailing and retail chandlery experience spanning 20 years, Adam’s technical knowledge makes him the perfect candidate for servicing our larger European OEM customers”, noted Matt Johnston. Vicky Minteli, a Greek national educated in Germany joins the sales team having previously worked for 9 years in Lewmar’s purchasing department. Vicky’s language ability combined with Adam’s commercial and technical background should ensure the correct mix of skills is in place to handle the enquiries coming out of Germany.

Luca Pelosio, an Italian National, naval architect with previous working experience in Italy and South Africa is also joining Lewmar as an Account Manager. “Luca’s extensive technical knowledge working as a project manager for both Southern Wind and the Ferretti group coupled to his international experience will be a strong asset to the team” commented Johnston.
