Communications agency strengthens with new appointments and promotions

Leading communications agency, ADPR, is delighted to announce a host of new appointments at the firm, along with the promotion of one of its team, as it celebrates 25 years in business.

With over 13 years’ experience in PR and communications across a variety of sectors including sport and leisure, technology, consumer finance, gaming and education, Jenny Walford has been appointed as Account Director at ADPR. Having worked for clients such as Philips, Visa and P&G, Jenny is well-equipped to head up the Garmin, Fusion Lifestyle, CLH Healthcare and McMurdo accounts at ADPR.

Commenting on her appointment, Jenny says, “I am delighted to be joining ADPR, especially at such an exciting time for the firm. ADPR is a fast-paced, driven agency with a host of successful and innovative clients around the globe – I’m very excited to get stuck in!”

Joining ADPR at aged 17, Zak Hillard has been appointed as the firm’s new Apprentice. As part of his course, Zak will complete his Level 4 certificate in Public Relations through the PRCA (Public Relations Consultancy Association), as well as receive in-house training from the experienced team at ADPR.

Zak is the third apprentice through ADPR’s dedicated training programme in five years, following a track record of professional, passionate and successful apprentices at the firm – one of whom, Beki Knowles, has recently been promoted to Account Manager. Beki joined the company in 2011 and now looks after a range of accounts at ADPR, including Helly Hansen, Chatham, Torqeedo, Haseltine Lake and Albert Goodman.

Associate Director at ADPR, Kate O’Sullivan, comments on the recent growth at the agency, saying, “We’re delighted to welcome Jenny and Zak to the team! They have both settled in superbly at ADPR and we look forward to the contributions they can bring to our clients. Beki’s promotion is the result of hard work and commitment to her clients, as well as to ADPR, and we are delighted to see her growth with the firm over the years.

“ADPR is a creative and innovative business, and these appointments highlight the growth and aspirations of the firm. Our staff are the heart of our business, and we have great visions for our future – it’s a very exciting time for ADPR.”
