Castle Marinas Ltd are delighted to be able to announce the arrival of some new finger pontoons and hence an improved layout at Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport. An extra 18 berths have been created with the installation of nine new finger pontoons replacing some of the alongside berths at Royal Clarence. The berths are suitable for boats of up to 10m LOA.
Royal Clarence, close to the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour on the Gosport side, offers great shelter and easy access to the Solent. It has some heavy duty pontoons and deep water berths perfect for larger or deep keeled boats and now it has more smaller boat facilities too.
The 18 extra berths were put in place by Walcon Marine (pictured below left) last week and they are already filling up. The Marina now has 150 fully serviced berths and there are also still a few18m berths available for 2016.
