Torqeedo, market leader in the fast growing electric outboard motor industry, will debut a selection of its new line of innovative electric motors at the London Boat Show 2016, on stand G047.
The first on display is the new Deep Blue Saildrive – a development of the award-winning 40 and 80HP motors. Offering 25kW power output, the Deep Blue Saildrive offers displacements hulls weighing up to 50 tonnes, the opportunity to achieve maximum speeds of 18+ km/h and is comparable with a 40HP petrol motor.
One of Torqeedo’s most popular models – the Cruise motor, returns to the collection with new POD drives in 2.0 FP*, 4.0 FP* and 10.0 FP* models. With a fixed flange motor, the new Cruise models have an optional folding propeller and offer a propulsive power of 1.12kW, 2.24kW and 6.6kW respectively. The new Cruise motors are suitable for use with displacement hulls.
Also on display will be the Ultralight – the world’s lightest outboard, perfect for kayaks and light boats. The new generation Cruise R and Cruise T models will be available to review, alongside the Travel Series, Torqeedo’s best-selling motor for tenders, dinghies and sailboats up to 1.5 tons.
