The Marine Equipment Division has been busy at Barrus, building their portfolio of products with market-leading brands to cater for their new and existing trade customers ready for the upcoming season.
Since the inception of the division in August 2018, they have secured distribution of 20 new brands, which complement the existing range of parts and accessories distributed by Barrus. Amongst these new brands are Simrad and Lowrance, market leading marine electronics brands for the recreational and commercial marine markets.
The Simrad range of marine electronics are perfect for powerboats, sports boats and day boats. These systems enable boaters to navigate confidently and safely with intuitive, multi-touch controls so they can venture beyond the horizon with reliable equipment and full control.
Lowrance is the number one choice for finding fish. Having first invented fishing technology over 60 years ago, they continue to refine electronics equipment and applications today. With four series of best-in-industry fishfinders and fishfinder/chart plotter combos, these systems satisfy the needs and budgets of both weekend anglers and touring professionals.
“At Southampton Boat Show, the Simrad and Lowrance equipment proved great synergy with our core engine business, and we are delighted to be able to offer this well-known range to our existing customer base,” commented Ben Allen, General Manager for the Marine Leisure Division, E. P. Barrus Ltd.
“With every Mercury and Mariner SmartCraft compatible outboard engine, these systems offer an interface that is easy to navigate with engine data delivered through Mercury’s VesselView Link, so will sit perfectly alongside our range of outboard engines to provide our specialist dealer network with complete engine packages.”
Simrad and Lowrance products are available to order from Barrus with immediate effect. Existing customers can order directly from the online portal, DIAL. For new enquiries, please email [email protected].
