UK based marine exhaust system, noise and vibration control and filtration specialists, Halyard, makes its welcome return to TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show. After two years away, visitors to the show will have the debut of Halyard’s new Exhaust Alert system, product updates and the opportunity to enter its exciting competition.
The new Exhaust Alert system is an overheat warning system for water-cooled exhausts, providing both audible and visual alarms should the system exceed its safe operating temperature. Compatible with all water-cooled exhaust systems, this essential safety product ensures users are made aware of exhaust overheat situations thus protecting the crew from potential injury and the exhaust system, engine and vessel from expensive thermal damage.
The new system incorporates touch screen control, a test facility and a warning alarm should the control circuit be compromised. For ease of installation and to provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance the display control unit is a standard 52mm diameter gauge. Standard options include either chrome or black bezels and black or white gauge cards, with further customisation options available on request.
The 52mm diameter display control unit requires no additional control box and can be fitted wherever the mariner chooses being waterproof to IP67 – for example, the flybridge, cockpit or helm. Easy to install and maintenance-free, the Exhaust Alert system starts at £235.44 inc VAT for a single engine system and £301.86 inc VAT for a twin engine system.
