Fischer Panda UK has announced that its generators can now communicate with the leading chartplotters, enabling users to easily monitor their generators with access to all important data through one central display.
Answering the demand from boatbuilders and boat owners for integration and connectivity between all on-board devices, Fischer Panda’s advanced gensets are compatible with Raymarine, Garmin, B&G, Lowrance and Simrad chartplotters.
The user-adjustable multifunction displays provide quick and easy control by showing the most critical generator data such as voltage, current, frequency and power. All generator data can also be accessed via the original control panel of the generator.
Fischer Panda generators equipped with xControl, iControl2 or fpControl can be connected to the corresponding network via the communication interface, using CAN communication NMEA2000, J1939 or HTML.
Fischer Panda UK’s Sales and Marketing Director, Chris Fower, said: “Following this year’s NMEA 2000 certification for our latest generators, the new chartplotter communication capability is another advancement which makes life onboard more comfortable and meets the demand for easy integration of all on-board systems. Fischer Panda generators can now be included among the devices that communicate with each other, enabling boatbuilders to move towards single point control and monitoring, simpler and easy-to-use cockpit dashes and unified control panels. At Fischer Panda UK, it adds further value to our integrated and complete systems, supported by our comprehensive design, supply, installation and support services.”
Fischer Panda UK supplies generators, Sea Recovery water makers, Mastervolt and CZone mobile power solutions and smart digital switching systems, and Dometic air-conditioning, all through the NMEA 2000 network.
