As with every piece in the Gill eyewear collection, the new bifocals have built in flotation to make sure that you don’t lose them should you drop them overboard. Our polarised lens technology consists of 7 separate layers comprising the polarising light filter, UV light absorbers to protect against UVA, UVB and UVC radiation. Lenses are optically corrected for crystal clear all round vision, and they are both shatter resistant and scratch resistant.
A hydrophobic outer lens repels water quickly and efficiently from the surface and avoids build-up of salt residue. Oleophobic technology helps to keep the lens free from sunscreen, skin oils and fingerprints.
Available in +1.5 and +2.5 diopter strengths they cover a broad range of reading needs, and come in our Sense frame with a wrap-around design to sit solidly and provide complete sun protection.
