AkzoNobel has extended its International Toplac range of high-performance paints with the introduction of two new colours. Toplac, a single component, long-lasting, high-gloss finish, has been admired on boats for many years. It is noted for its performance and ease of use.
Toplac’s fast-drying and smooth-flowing silicone alkyd formula produces a deep lustrous finish. The formula incorporates a system of Ultra Violet light filters to create a durable surface with outstanding gloss and colour retention.
AkzoNobel’s Product Manager for International, Amanda Atkinson, commented: “We have introduced two new colours to the popular Toplac colour range; Woodward Green 139 and Platinum 151. Woodward Green has been named after the company’s retired Account Manager Bryn Woodward, in recognition of over 20 years’ service. Woodward worked on the Toplac coatings range since its launch and over the years ran numerous painting workshops at the London Boat Show. “I’m honoured, humbled and very happy and this colour will go down as one of my favourites!” comments Woodward. Atkinson added; “It was fitting that we should acknowledge the dedication that Bryn has shown over the years and we will now always be reminded to his contribution to the success of Toplac.”
