Mercator Media Ltd, the producer of Seawork International – Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, announces new dates for Seawork 2018.
The 21st anniversary edition of Seawork International will be held from 3-5 July 2018 in Mayflower Park, Southampton UK.
Seawork International is regarded as the industry’s one-stop-shop, providing buyers, legislators and influencers with direct access to the commercial marine and workboat market, its equipment and services, its innovations and its people, for three invaluable days every year.
Accustomed to a regular mid-June slot, Seawork’s move from June to July for 2018 is driven by a combination of spring tides on the previously favoured dates, and a busy calendar of events for the commercial marine industry sector next summer.
Andrew Webster, CEO of Mercator Media Ltd, comments, “It’s exciting to be approaching the 21st anniversary of Seawork International.
Mercator Media has been running Seawork since 1998 and, during that time, the Seawork team has worked closely with exhibitors and visitors to deliver a unique on-shore and on-water trade exhibition.
We can’t move the tides but we can facilitate business by making sure we have the best dates possible for our partners for 2018 and our 21st year.”
Seawork International comprises an exhibition, a conference, an Innovation showcase and the European Commercial Marine Awards; attracting over 7,600 industry professionals, 10,500 products and services, together with over 70 vessels.
Visitor registration for Seawork International and nominations for the European Commercial Marine Awards will open in March 2018. The 2019 edition of Seawork International will take place 11-13 June 2019.
