Cowes Week Limited, organisers of Cowes Week, one of the world’s best-known sailing regattas and a highlight of the British sporting summer, are delighted to announce MUSTO as a new addition to their family of supporting sponsors.
MUSTO, the British Marine and Country clothing specialists endorsed with two Royal Warrants, have become the official Clothing Supplier of Cowes Week sailing regatta for the next 5 years.
As part of its Cowes Week activities, MUSTO will be developing a fantastic new merchandise range with Cowes Week organisers and providing the regatta team with MUSTO clothing. MUSTO will also be running a series of competitions to win exclusive prizes, providing a bag for the competitor packs and offering expert information on the right kit for each type of sailing.
Commenting on the announcement, Kate Johnson, Commercial and Marketing Director at Cowes Week Limited says: “We are really looking forward to working in partnership with MUSTO and being able to deliver an exciting new range of kit and clothing for our competitors and spectators in 2016. MUSTO offers a great range for men and women alike and, while hugely respected by the sailing fraternity, the styles should appeal to those watching from the shoreside too, so the partnership represents some fantastic opportunities for us both.”
Peter Smith, CEO of MUSTO added, “Having competed for many years we are incredibly excited to become the official suppliers to Cowes Week. Making the very best performance sailing gear is at the core of MUSTO, and as a great British company, it is only right that we should be supporting the world’s best known sailing regatta here in the UK. Here at MUSTO we are constantly innovating, with new race collections and accessories launching in the Spring. No matter what the conditions, we look forward to meeting the needs of every competitor and their supporters over the coming years.”
