Summer is here and yesterday the newly refurbished Camper & Nicholsons Marinas (CNM) St. Katharine Docks officially relaunch the marina to key stakeholders and the public before the highly anticipated opening of London on Water Show on 8th June 2017.

The relaunch of St. Katharine Docks took place on the floating events pontoon, and was well attended by key industry players keen to experience being in London’s most iconic marina destination. Guests included Boat International, IBI, British Marine and Blackstone Group.

In the welcoming speech to guests, General Marina Manager Paul Tetlow, kindly thanked Camper & Nicholsons Marinas (CNM) for all the invaluable support offered throughout the entire and complex refurbishment programme and CNM for the ongoing support now that the marina is fully operational.

A delicious array of cocktails, prosecco and canapes were presented to guests by Dokke Restaurant, a tenant within the St Katharine Dock estate. Master chef of Dokke, Neil Wager and his team, enjoyed meeting new and existing clients on the floating pontoon which soon became the in-place to be seen at during the British summer evening.

Guests at the event further enjoyed a high-speed and exhilarating trip onboard the Thames Rocket speed boat. This hair-raising ride, delighted the guests who enjoyed the experience of being on the Thames, with a whistle-stop tour and views of Tower Bridge, Greenwich and Canary Wharf.

St. Katharine Docks is expecting a successful summer having created a seamless events programme for berth holders, commercial tenants, land-side residents and the public. The ‘Passport to Summer’ is a series of events and activities suited for the whole family to enjoy at the Docks. The events will play a key role is ensuring the docks are well utilised as a fun and safe destination throughout the summer.
