Interform Marine, the UK specialist in vacuum formed marine mounting solutions, has appointed Mark Tilley as its Marine Sales Manager. Previously General Manager at Mermaid Marine and European Sales Manager at Luhrs Marine, Mark brings with him a wealth of industry experience spanning some 22 years.
Interform Marine is the UK manufacturer of the MarinePod range of housings for marine electronics and the UK distributor of the American Seaview range of mounting solutions, a range that nicely complements the MarinePod portfolio.
Interform Marine offers a bespoke ABS plastic vacuum forming manufacturing service and designs and produces ABS plastic parts to replace components traditionally made from labour intensive GRP. The advantages to the boat builder in switching from GRP to plastic components are numerous including a meaningful saving in weight, faster and cleaner production times and a significant saving in cost.
Mark’s responsibilities will focus on strengthening existing relationships and building new ones with boat builders and customers throughout the UK, European and other International markets. As a keen enthusiast in boat design and a previous participant of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), Mark is able to draw on his invaluable sailing experience and design expertise.
