Marine communications agency ADPR under new ownership

Communications agency, ADPR, announces it is under new ownership. The successful communications agency has been bought by Kate and James O’Sullivan. Kate has been ADPR’s Managing Director since November 2016 and James – a chartered accountant – will take up the role of Finance Director.

ADPR was set up more than 26 years ago by founder Alice Driscoll and has a strong heritage within the marine sector. The management team under Kate’s leadership has enabled ADPR to diversify and the agency now has a range of clients from the marine, health, well-being, tourism and outdoor sectors. Clients include Britt’s Superfoods, Fusion Entertainment, Clarks Village, Fairline Yachts, Sleep Well, Sunsail and Helly Hansen.

Kate says, “I am pleased to now be the owner of ADPR, an agency I have worked at for over 12 years and have run for the past year. Under the new ownership of myself and James, we will ensure continuity for clients and staff and a smooth succession for the company. Myself and the management team at ADPR have been working closely to secure the long-term future of the company, enabling it to develop further with a host of new service offerings whilst remaining true to our core skills set.”

Alice says, “This is a great development for ADPR and ensures a successful long term future for the company, its employees and its clients.  Kate and I started working together in 2005, and her progression to Managing Director and now owner ensures the continuation of a successful business which is widely respected.  I’m really pleased to see the company going from strength to strength, thanks to its new leadership and continued hard work and support from all the team.”
