Exhibitors are buzzing in anticipation of another record-breaking event as Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, Seawork International, which will opens its doors in less than two months’ time on 16 June.
For the 18th consecutive year, Seawork will once again be home to 550 exhibitors, 70 vessels, promoting a wide range of products and services covering all aspects of the maritime sector, to over 7,500 attendees.
Damen will be taking the ‘Vessels Afloat’ area of Seawork to a new level this year by building and exhibiting on its very own 41x13m pontoon. The Netherlands-built pontoon will showcase Stan Launches, Multi Cat and Interceptor, in addition to Damen-built components and a new hospitality tent.
Damen’s Casper Vermeulen comments, “The vessels berthed on Seawork’s floating walkway [are] an excellent way for clients to get to know Damen products like Twin Axe Fast Crew Suppliers and Multi Cat workboats and of course, we’ll also be standing on one of Damen’s own pontoon and barge models.”
Intelligent Devices will be promoting a range of innovative solutions for positional telematics, including tracking and monitoring devices for the marine industry, asset tracking for high capital equipment and advanced remote monitoring for applications as diverse as marine buoys to oil pipelines.
A brand new marine propulsion system that its makers claim can dramatically cut operating costs – while producing more thrust with less noise and vibration will be revealed at Seawork by German giant, Voith.
The National Workboat Association is joining forces with the International Jack-Up Barge Operators Association to produce a focus on Safety in a seminar being held in the Seawork Conference.
Seawork’s free-to-attend two-day conference, which is held on-site, will deliver an absorbing programme of sessions embracing technical discussions, industry updates and emerging hot topics. Sessions include Hybrid Systems for Small Craft to 70’, Flood Defences, Collaborating with Research Centres and Universities, Meet the Buyer – Navitus Bay & Rampion, and Crew Transfer Vessels.
Nominations are rolling in for the Seawork Innovations Showcase, whereby cutting edge technology and new products are revealed, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Maritime Professional of the Year Award, all of which culminate in an Award Ceremony hosted by champion power-boater, Shelley Jory, on Tuesday 16 June.
Seawork is the ideal destination to meet key market influencers in one location, providing the opportunity to extend both national and global maritime community reach throughout the three days of the event.
