Already safety specialists in their own right, with over 80 years in the safety and survival business, Revere Survival Inc, based in Florida, is now an officially Approved Service Station for a range of Ocean Safety’s premium products including liferafts, lifejackets and man overboard systems.
The recent training course, completion of which granted Revere the Approval status, covered the Ocean ISO liferaft range, which, as one of Ocean Safety’s premium products, is a popular choice of liferafts in the USA. Approvals were also granted for Ocean Safety’s Jonbuoy man overboard products and Kru lifejackets. The K2 lifejacket range for the commercial maritime sector has also been covered.
Revere Survival Inc is the Florida-based sister company Ocean Safety Ltd, both part of the 3Si group. Ocean Safety’s Training Manager Steve Bockett was responsible for delivering the detailed training week at the company’s Jacksonville base.
The aim of the course was to familiarise Revere’s technicians with the products in the Ocean Safety range that will integrate into the Revere range as part of the alignment of the products in the companies across 3Si.
“By giving Revere Approved Service Station Approval for Ocean Safety Products we have enabled them to increase the scope of their own servicing capabilities, to cater for the increased range of products that they are offering, namely from Ocean Safety,” says Steve Bockett. “Ocean Safety’s Ocean ISO liferaft is gaining momentum in the US market for which Revere are the central North American distributor.”
Thomas Mastrella of Revere says, “Six of our safety technicians benefitted from the four day training course presented by Ocean Safety. The new Approvals give Revere a greater capability to supply and service a larger range of equipment, through our network of North American stockists.”
