Torqeedo, the market leader in the marine electric engine industry, has announced its partnership with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, to supply eco-friendly electric motors for the Zodiac expeditions.
After a one year pilot phase, two ships, the Hanseatic and Bremen, now use Torqeedo’s award winning 80HP Deep Blue electric engines. Used to take guests to some of the world’s most remote regions, the Hapag-Lloyd Zodiacs will replace previous marine diesel engines, used for many years.
